The Riverside Regional Park and Open-Space District and The Cove Waterpark – Jurupa Aquatic Center are inviting you to participate as a sponsor of our facility. The Cove Waterpark is scheduled to open for its 2nd summer on May 26, 2012.
The Cove Waterpark is anticipating over 6,000 season pass holders and over 90,000 daily visitors this season. The park features five attractions, including the Riptide Reef FlowRider, Crow;s Nest Slides, Ne’er Endin’ River, and Lil’ Mates’ Lagoon. The Jurupa Aquatic Center is home to our year-round swim lessons and aqua aerobics as well as Patriot High School Swim Team. We welcome several visiting aquatics teams throughout the year as well.
The Cove Waterpark, as a County of Riverside facility, has been given the task of operating as a self-sufficient business. We are not in the game to generate an overflow of revenue, however, we must cover our costs. Our number one expense is staffing and although we could lower the number of staff in the park, we feel safety of our guests is our number one priority. We cannot lower the number of staff without lowering the quality of safety throughout the park.
